Questions about Seenfy
Answers to what people ask most. If yours is not here, write to support@colorhub.online — it is one inbox and a real person reads it.
The basics
Is Seenfy free?
Yes. Tracking shows and movies, ticking off episodes, ratings, statuses, statistics, the friend feed and the full TV Time import are all free, with no ads and no limit on how many titles you track. An optional Plus subscription adds extra accent colors, the pure-black theme, alternate app icons, private notes, custom titles and custom cover artwork.
What does Seenfy actually do?
Seenfy keeps a per-episode record of the TV shows and movies you watch. You mark individual episodes as watched — one at a time or a whole season at once — rate them from 1 to 10, and set each title to watching, planned, on hold, dropped or completed. The app tracks which episode is next, when the next one airs, and turns your marks into statistics: episodes per week, hours per month, longest streaks. Friends you add get a plain chronological feed of what you finished.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. Seenfy is built for iPhone and Android from one codebase, and the web app at seenfy.app works in any modern browser. Your library is the same on all three — sign in and it is there. The mobile apps are in store review; the App Store and Google Play badges on this site go live the moment they are published.
Can I use it on the web?
Yes — seenfy.app is a full client, not a landing page. Your library, discover, per-episode marking, ratings, stats, the friend feed, comments, settings and the TV Time import all run in the browser, against the same account and the same data as the mobile apps.
Do I need an account?
You need one to keep a library, since it is what your data is stored against. Signing in with Google or Apple takes one tap. In the mobile apps you can also start anonymously and link a sign-in method later — everything you tracked in the meantime moves to the new account.
Moving in from another app
How do I import from TV Time?
TV Time shut down on 15 July 2026, and Seenfy imports the GDPR export archive it emailed its users. Sign in, open Settings → Import & export → Import from TV Time, and pick the .zip exactly as it arrived — watched episodes, watch dates, rewatches, reactions, favorites, watchlist, custom lists and comments all come across. The full walkthrough is on the TV Time migration page.
Will importing twice duplicate my library?
No. Imports merge by catalog id: a title already in your library keeps its status, rating and favorite flag, and only missing episodes, dates and reactions are added. That is also why an interrupted import is safe to run again.
Can I get my data back out?
Yes. In the mobile apps, Settings → Import & export writes your library out as JSON and CSV — titles with their status, ratings and dates, plus a separate file of every watched episode. They are plain files you keep, with nothing tied to Seenfy about them. Export on the web is on its way; import already works there.
Your data
Is my data private?
Your library is private by default and is not sold, shared or used for advertising. Only two things are ever public, and only if you choose them: comments you post on a show, movie or episode thread, and the activity visible to friends you have accepted — which you can switch off per kind of event in settings. The privacy policy names the operator, the legal bases and every processor involved.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from inside the app: Settings → Profile → Delete account. It removes the account and the library, friendships and activity attached to it. Export first if you want to keep a copy — deletion is not reversible.
Where does the show and movie data come from?
From TheTVDB, through Seenfy's own server rather than from your device, which is why the app holds no API keys. Catalog metadata is fetched live and not stored on your account — what is stored is what you did: your marks, dates, ratings and notes.
Getting help
Something is wrong — how do I report it?
Email support@colorhub.online with what happened and, if you can, the title or episode it happened on. There is also a Discord and @colorhubonline on X.
An episode or show is missing from the catalog.
The catalog is TheTVDB's, and it is community-edited: a missing episode or a wrong air date is usually fixed by editing the entry on thetvdb.com, and Seenfy picks the change up on its next fetch. If something looks wrong on Seenfy's side instead, write in and it will be looked at.
